Metro Atlanta
FOOLS
Welcome to the Metro Atlanta F.O.O.L.S.
We are the Metro Atlanta chapter of the Fraternal Order of Leatherheads Society (F.O.O.L.S.), an organization dedicated to preserving the traditions and values of the fire service. Our chapter is named in honor of DeKalb County Firefighter Bill Craddock, who was instrumental in bringing F.O.O.L.S. to Georgia. His legacy continues to inspire our commitment to brotherhood, training, and community service.
Who We Are
Founded in 2006, the Metro Atlanta F.O.O.L.S. has grown into a vibrant community of dedicated firefighters who share a passion for the job, a commitment to training, and a love for the traditions that define our profession. We believe in the principles of pride, honor, and respect and strive to pass these values on to the next generation of firefighters.
What We Do
At Metro Atlanta F.O.O.L.S., we focus on hands-on training, professional development, and building strong relationships within the firefighting community. We host regular training events, including our flagship Craddock Safety and Survival Course, to ensure our members are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to stay safe and effective on the fireground. Additionally, we engage in charitable activities, community outreach, and provide a support network for our members.
